Present your architectural project to a client in 3D
A 3D walkthrough helps your client understand how the spaces in their project fit together. Follow these steps to prepare and run a client presentation with the viewer.
The viewer interface is in Spanish; English coming soon
Editorial review: · DRB Studio.
Prepare your views before the meeting
Open the project in “Revisión” (Review). Frame the facade, entrance, living room and primary bedroom, saving each under “Vistas” (Views). Choose “Presentar” (Present) to play them as a slideshow.
Add the surroundings and local sun
With the location entered in the project details, the viewer looks up buildings, streets, parks and trees available in OpenStreetMap and simulates the sun for a date and time. The surroundings are approximate.
Switch to “Presentación” (Presentation)
Presentation mode hides the technical panels. The toolbar gives you “Vistas” (Views), “Recorrer” (Walk), “Pantalla completa” (Full screen) and “Herramientas” (Tools) to return to Review. The project details show the project name and the architect or practice behind it.
Invite your client to explore at eye level
Choose “Recorrer” (Walk) to move through the project as in a video game: use the mouse to look around and the WASD keys to move, or the on-screen joystick on a phone. Press F to switch to drone mode and view the roof and overall site layout.
Finish with a photorealistic image
In “Render”, the “Realista” (Realistic) setting adds sky lighting, reflections and contact shadows to the real-time preview. “Hacer render” (Render) calculates a ray-traced image you can download and send to your client.
Send the project for your client to explore at home
Use “Compartir” (Share), or “Exportar” (Export) on the project card in “Mis proyectos”, to download a .drb package with the model, project details, views and notes. Share it via WhatsApp, email or Google Drive. Your client drags it into drbstudio.mx/visor to load the model, project details, saved views and notes. You can also export screenshots credited to you or your practice, along with DXF or SVG drawings.
